RAW Recruitment Inc. (hereinafter “RAW,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals who use its website and services. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and what rights you have in relation to it.

This policy complies with Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (as amended by Law 25 / Bill 64), as well as the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

  • Professional information: job title, current or past employer, work experience, résumé/CV, and any other documents you submit in connection with a job application or recruitment mandate.

3. Purposes of Collection

We use your personal information for the following purposes:

  • Responding to your inquiries or contact form submissions.
  • Evaluating your application and presenting you with relevant career opportunities.
  • Connecting qualified candidates with our employer-clients as part of recruitment mandates.
  • Improving our website and services through browsing data analysis (Google Analytics).
  • Complying with our legal and regulatory obligations.

4. Sharing of Personal Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share it in the following circumstances:

  • Employer-clients: as part of a recruitment mandate, with your express or implied consent depending on the context.
  • Service providers: third-party vendors who help us operate our website (e.g., WordPress hosting, Google Analytics, CookieYes), bound by confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal obligations: when required by law or a competent authority.

Google Analytics may transfer certain data to servers located in the United States. Such transfers are governed by applicable compliance mechanisms (standard contractual clauses). You may opt out of this data collection through our cookie manager or by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

5. Retention of Personal Information

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy or to satisfy our legal obligations. As a general guideline:

  • Information related to a job application or recruitment mandate is retained for up to 3 years after the last interaction, unless you instruct us otherwise.
  • Browsing data collected through Google Analytics is retained according to the settings configured in our Google Analytics account (by default, 14 months).

Upon expiry of these periods, personal information is securely destroyed or anonymized.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to enhance your browsing experience. We use CookieYes to obtain your consent before placing non-essential cookies.

The categories of cookies we use are as follows:

  • Essential cookies: necessary for the website to function properly; no consent is required for these.

If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (CAI): www.cai.gouv.qc.ca.

8. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Our website is hosted on a secure infrastructure with encrypted connections (HTTPS).

In the event of a privacy incident likely to cause serious harm, we will fulfil our notification obligations to the CAI and affected individuals in accordance with Law 25.

9. Minors

Our website and services are intended for professionals and are not directed at individuals under the age of 14. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. In the event of a material change, we will update the date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review it periodically.
